Instruction for Filling Online Application

General Instruction
  1. All Applications should be made ONLINE
  2. Application Fee : Rs. 100/- (Excluding Bank Charge)
  3. Follow step by step instruction for online form fill-up & submission
  5. After the Merit List is published the selected candidates must come with PRINTOUT(s) of the Form(s), receipt copy of the payment of application fees issued by bank and all documents (both Original & Xerox) for admission
Instruction for Filling Online Application
  • Admission to the degree course in this college is made on merit basis in consideration of the results of H.S. or equivalent (10+2) examination conducted by any Council /Board recognized by the University– as per university guidelines. For admission to Honours courses, Merit Point is to be calculated by adding 10% of the total marks obtained in the ‘Best five’ subjects excluding Environmental Studies and the marks obtained in the subject or related subject in which the admission in Honours course is sought. Merit Point for admission to General Course is to be calculated by adding the marks obtained in ‘Best five’ subjects excluding Environmental Studies.
  • In addition to Clause (i), any candidate seeking admission to Honours in Accounting & Finance Course must have obtained 45% marks in Mathematics in Madhyamik/ Equivalent Examination or must have passed in Mathematics in Higher Secondary /Equivalent Examination. However, this condition is not applicable for students passing H.S. or Equivalent examination having at least two commerce papers, one of which must be either Business Economics including Business Mathematics or Accountancy or any other equivalent subject.
  • No student will be allowed for admission into 1st year during 2017-18 who passed HS Examination in 2014 (Without Special Permission from V.U.) as per UG regulation. Only 2015, 2016 & 2017 HS passed candidate will be allowed for admission into 1st year academic session 2017-18. If the candidate admitted earlier in the college but unsuccessful & lost all chances in Part-I, those candidates may be permitted for admission into 1st year (session: 2017-18) after taking Special permission from University authority [as for example, the student who passed HS in 2014 and unsuccessful in 2015 & 2016, he/she may be permitted after taking special permission for admission in 1st year (session: 2017-18)]. Special permission must be obtained from the Secretary, UG Council, Vidyasagar University.
    • Prayer of special permission for admission forwarded by the college to be received at the University: 02- 06-2017 to 12-06-2017.
    • Date of special permission to be issued: 15.06.2017 to 20.06.2017.
  • Reservation of seats for SC/ST/PH Candidates as per Govt. rules.

All Application should be made online. After online submission of forms, candidates must submit the requisite fee of Rs. 100/- (excluding Bank charge) at any Branch of Bank of India. Do not submit any Printout or Fee at the College. After the publication of Merit List the selected candidates must bring THE PRINTOUT OF THE APPLICATION FORM, Receipt copy of the payment of application fees issued by bank, ORIGINAL & PHOTO COPIES OF ALL TESTIMONIALS on the day of admission.

Step by Step Application Procedure is detailed below (Read these carefully before you proceed):

  1. Have these ready –
    • Scanned Copy of Photo (Size 05-80 kB in JPG / JPEG Format)
    • Scanned Copy of Signature (Size 05-80 kB in JPG / JPEG Format)
  2. Verify your Eligibility by Clicking <Eligibility> Button
  3. Click on <Apply Now>
  4. Complete the REGISTRATION Page ---- Click REGISTER (Remember your Password)
    (Your basic information will be automatically transferred to Application format)
  5. Click on <Apply>
  6. Fill in  the required fields carefully
  7. If inputs are OK Click <Submit>
  8. A Success Message would appear with Form No. and you will receive an SMS
  9. Automatically the dash board would appear with a button<PRINT CHALLAN>
  10. If you wish to apply for another subject Click <ANOTHER APPLICATION>
  11. You cannot edit the personal and academic details as they are already saved
  12. Now choose only the new subject(s) of application
  13. Follow the same process for all applications
  14. At the Dashboard a summary of Applications would appear
  15. On completion of application process Click <LOG OUT>
  16. Submit the Fee through Online Payment option or by the Challan generated after online submission
  17. You may take a printout of the application form(s) now
  18. You may also take the printout any time during the admission process

** Forms with incomplete / wrong information will be summarily rejected.

Documents to be submitted

At the time of admission a Print – out of the application submitted on-line earlier must be submitted along with the attested copies of the following documents.

  • One attested copy of Madhyamik/Equivalent Admit Card. (Age proof certificate).
  • One attested copy of Madhyamik/Equivalent Mark sheet.
  • One attested copy of H.S.(10+2)/Equivalent Mark sheet.
  • One attested copy of character certificate of the institution last attended.
  • One attested copy of SC/ST/OBC/PH certificates in case of such candidates.
  • Receipt copy of the payment of application fees issued by bank
  • One copy of self-authenticated recent passport size Photograph of the candidate.
  • For necessary verification of the aforesaid documents, all the relevant original copies are to be produced.
